Who we are
We are a non-federal, non-profit corporation of California, which is dedicated to supporting the research and educational activities of the Navy Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine community. Many of our Foundation Directors have served in the military, to include operational and deployed environments, and are now active in both clinical and academic medicine. These experiences provide us with a unique and thorough insight into the needs of the Navy PCCM community.
Navy Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) provides world-class medical care within the continential United States, abroad, as well as in the forward-deployed operational environment. Members of the PCCM community also perform research, serve as leaders within national professional societies, and function as educators of Graduate Medical Education (GME) students. The Foundation provides support to PCCM members for charitable purposes, to include but not limited to; medical research, informational and educational activities, and talent management.
